Women’s Retreat 2024 FAQ

May I request a roommate?

Yes. While we cannot guarantee that we can accommodate your roommate request, we are happy to do our best to make this arrangement.


May I request my own room?

The accommodations for room and board have been arranged for 2 retreat guests in each room to help keep costs as low as possible.


Do you offer scholarships or discounts for the retreat?

We currently do not have scholarships available but have put in place a payment plan to help ease any financial burden. We are offering the retreat at cost and are unable to offer discounts at this time.


Can I make payments?

Yes, you can sign up for a payment plan. If you have decided to go with a payment plan and are ready earlier than expected to finish paying the full remaining balance, you are welcome to do that anytime! Please visit the payment portal to do so.

Once you have paid a minimum amount of $25 during your registration, we will reserve a spot for you. We have broken up the total retreat fee of $300 into due dates in which you have time to pay along the way to meet the amount due. You may pay in any increment on any day that best fits your needs here. (insert payment portal) We are just asking that by the following specific dates the minimum amount listed is in your account.

Payment Due Dates

  • Sunday, March 3rd a paid total of at least $100 is due in your account
  • Sunday, June 2nd a paid total of at least $200 is due in your account
  • Sunday, September 1st the full retreat amount of $300 is due

We are limited in the number of participants for our retreat. Please help us honor all participants and those on the waiting list by making payments on time and communicating with us anything you need or about any changes as soon as possible. If you miss a payment, we will have to offer your spot to someone else. All payments are non refundable. You can reach us at  rladies.alhambra@redemptionaz.com


Do you accepts cancellations or refunds?

We understand that things come up to which you may need to cancel. You are able to cancel and we encourage you to let us know as soon as possible. Due to the commitment to the Renewal Center we will not be able to refund any amount that has already been accredited to your account for the retreat. We will use those funds for retreat expenses and to assist other retreat attendees who may need help with retreat costs. Please note that the Renewal Center does not handle the cancellation portion for our retreat and that all communication to cancel needs to go through the R/Ladies ministry at rladies.alhambra@redemptionaz.com.


Can I sponsor/scholarship someone?

Of course! Please email us at rladies.alhambra@redemptionaz.com and we can discuss next steps!


What if I am scheduled to serve Sunday, October 27th?

Our commitment to Redemption Alhambra is vital to the flow of the service. We plan to leave the grounds immediately following breakfast on Sunday, however if you are scheduled to serve in any area, please honor your commitment and make arrangements to arrive at the church on time to serve as scheduled.


What time should I arrive on Friday?

The First Session begins Friday, October 25th at 7pm. You may check in anytime after 4:30pm and begin to enjoy your time. Dinner will be served in the dining hall at 6pm for overnight guests. 


I have dietary restrictions. May I get a discount since I won’t be eating the food?

The Franciscan Renewal Center provides all meals in their dining hall and offers a variety of food options. We completely understand that you have dietary restrictions/allergies and need to bring your own food. We will have access to our own refrigerator and there is a microwave in the dining hall for reheating if needed. However, we are unable to offer discounts as meals/snacks are wrapped up in room and commuter fees.


May I request special food prepared for my dietary restrictions?

The Franciscan Renewal Center provides all meals in their dining hall and offers a variety of food options. They are unable to accommodate special food preparations but they do ask for a list of allergies from our guests to take into consideration. What is served and how it is served cannot be guaranteed to meet the needs of all guests. We completely understand that you have dietary restrictions/allergies and need to bring your own food. We will have access to our own refrigerator and there is a microwave in the dining hall for reheating if needed.


I can only stay one night. May I pay for just one night?

We are excited for you to join us as you are able. Staying both nights is not required. However, we are unable to offer discounts for 1-night stays due to the facility requirements.


Parking?

Parking is free. We will send a map of where to check in and park closer to the retreat.
